Street Fighter Season 2: Week 5 Recap

After last week's loss to Team Envy, the team were looking to bounce back against an undefeated Prophecy team. Let's take a look back at the action.

Afii would take on Zera in the first game of the series. The Laura main comfortably took the first two rounds to give the boys in red the early advantage. Next up, Shakz would face Shivryuken. Shakz took the first round and finished the second with a strong combo to secure a 2-0 lead in the series.

The opposition responded in game three and four, where both Zera and Akainu managed to take down Gun Slinga to level the series at 2-2. Game five would see Afii back in action to play Akainu. Akainu picked up another win for Prophecy, giving them a 3-2 advantage. Gun Slinga had to defeat Zera to force a game seven.

Europe's best Balrog clutched up when it mattered, defeating Zera to take the series to a deciding game seven. Shakz would do battle with Shivryuken once again. Shakz took down Shivryuken for the second time to secure a thrilling 4-3 victory for the Red Army!

GGWP to Prophecy. A great way to avenge the loss to Team Envy! Another step closer towards the playoffs.
