Opening day two, the boys in red would take on Wisefrag for a spot in the championship bracket. The squad were able to take a comfortable 3-0 victory to set up a clash with Team Envy in the first round of the championship bracket.
Kicking off the series on The Rig Strongholds, it was a close battle to gain early control but it was the North Americans who quickly locked in a triple capture and went on to take the game 100-18 to take the early series lead. Truth Slayer also saw a back and forth beginning but this time it was the boys in red who managed to establish a slight lead over the boys in blue. As the game was heading to the final stages, Envy managed to take the lead and grabbed the win, 50-47 to extend their advantage to 2-0. Could we pull off the reverse sweep?
Fathom CTF would be next and Envy began with the early aggression. The squad managed to pull the flag twice but were unable to break through the defence of Envy as the stalemate continued for most of the game. Another unsuccessful flag pull from the boys in red led to a quick counter capture from Envy to give them the lead with just a few minutes remaining. A last second capture sealed the victory for Envy as they took a 3-0 sweep. We were now in the loser's bracket.
The first game in the loser's bracket for the squad would be against Fyra Gaming. after four games, the series was heading to a deciding game five where Fyra were able to take the game and the series 3-2. We were out of the tournament and placed top 12.
