The dust has settled from a fantastic HWC Orlando event last weekend. Just a week later, the boys in red are in action once again, as they look to defend their championship at HWC London. Let's take a closer look at what to expect.
After finishing in the top twelve back in Orlando, the squad will be focused on improving after falling to Team Envy and Splyce last weekend. HWC London will give them a good opportunity to take on some top European teams and a top four finish will book their place at the World Championships, taking place in Seattle later in the year.
With a double elimination bracket in place instead of pool play, every single match is important. Dropping into the loser's bracket early on with Europe's best teams in attendance, a good start on Friday is essential if the boys in red are to make it into the top four, and book their place to the World Championships.
After competing against the world's best last weekend, the squad have their sights firmly set on retaining their HWC London title which they won last year. I think that it's certainly possible that they can achieve the victory once again.
HWC London begins on Friday the 23rd of February and will see teams from the EMEA region battle it out for a share of $20,000.
Tune in here from 3.30pm GMT and show your support for the squad! #RedArmy
