Season two of the Gfinity Elite Series is all over. Another nine weeks of high quality esports action showcasing some of the best talent that Europe has to offer. Let's take a look back at how our teams got on.

Looking to build on a successful first season, Sean "ImStillDaDaddy" Dench would once again lead our campaign as we looked for the top prize. Some impressive results in the opening weeks left the team in a strong position but some close game five thrillers didn't work out in our favour. Despite the losses, the team still made it into the playoffs where they would take on Prophecy in the semi-finals. Unluckily, the squad were defeated 4-0 by a strong Prophecy side. Now the focus switches to next season where the boys in red will be intent on getting their hands on the winner's trophy.
Having gone on an incredible undefeated streak during season one, expectations were high as Ryan "Doomsee" Graham looked for another solid season under the Infused banner. Competing alongside some new faces for season two, results were a huge contrast from last season, with the team only managing to score one victory in the entire season. We will move into season three with high hopes of returning to winning ways.
After narrowly missing out on a place at the season one playoffs, a new look roster began their campaign looking to get some wins on the board. The new best of one format favoured the heavy fragging power of the team and soon enough, an impressive win against Team Envy put us in contention for one of the four places in the semi-finals. A string of draws and losses soon followed the win. The squad had to beat Reason Gaming in the final game of the season to stand any chance of reaching the playoffs but it was not to be. Heading into the next season, we'll be looking to continue with the improvements and make it into the top four.
Another fantastic season organised by Gfinity. We cannot wait to get season three underway in 2018!
