CWL New Orleans Recap

Infused Call of Duty have been competing at the second major Call of Duty event of the year. Taking place in New Orleans, the event hosted the largest open bracket in history, with over two hundred teams attending. The boys in red headed into the event with the second seed and were looking to make it into pool play. Let's take a look at what happened.

Knowing that a good result at the event would put them in contention for the Pro League, the squad started well, with several 2-0 sweeps in the early rounds of the tournament. In Round five, the team battled against GGEA Blue. Unfortunately, the team were defeated 2-0 and were sent to the loser's bracket.

The boys in red began their loser's bracket run with a comfortable 2-0 win against Overtime to set up a match against the French team of Supremacy. The squad were unable to overcome their opposition and were eliminated from the tournament.

GGWP to all the teams we played over the weekend. Infused CoD finish CWL New Orleans with a top 32 placement, collecting 1,800 Pro Points each.

We'll be back for the UK National League, where we look to take home the victory!
