The 2018 Call of Duty season kicked off with over 200 teams descending on Dallas to battle it out for a share of $200,000 and the thousands of Pro Points that are up for grabs. Let's take a look at how the team got on.
The boys in red began their campaign in the open bracket. After three victorious rounds, the squad found themselves against Beyond Reality, where they were defeated 2-0 and dropped down into the loser's bracket.
The first match in the loser's bracket would be against the Spanish team of Movistar Riders, where Nolson & co would take a comfortable 2-0 win to set up a round seven match against 3Kingz Gaming. Another victory for the boys in red moved them to within a few rounds of making it to championship Sunday, but before then they had to take down the newly formed Lightning Pandas team.
Unfortunately, the Pandas were too strong, taking a 2-0 victory to place in the top 32. A solid performance from the new look roster. Let's get some good results in the upcoming 2K tournaments as we look to secure a good seed for New Orleans in January!
GGWP to all the teams we played over the weekend. A huge thank you to MLG for hosting such an incredible event. Bring on New Orleans.
