CWL Championships: Day 4 Recap

Despite falling to FaZe in the winner's bracket, we weren't out of the tournament yet. A victory against Luminosity would secure our place in the top 8. Let's take a look at what went down.

Luminosity were able to draw first blood on Throwback Hardpoint, taking it 250-198 to take the early advantage in the series. The boys in red responded with an impressive 6-3victory on Breakout S&D to tie the series at 1-1. Starting Frost Uplink with the early map control, the squad looked to get some early points on the board but they were unable to overcome the solid LG defence. The momentum quickly switched in favour of our opposition, scoring a flurry of points to take the game 7-2 and move to a 2-1 series lead.

The boys in red had to win Throwback HP to force a deciding game 5. Unfortunately, Luminosity were too strong, comfortably taking the map 250-92 to take the series 3-1.

GGWP to Luminosity. Infused Call of Duty place top 12 at the 2017 CWL Championships, taking home $25,000. We'll be back stronger for WW2!
