Counter Strike Season 2: Week 6 Recap

Knowing that a victory against Prophecy would keep us in contention for playoffs, it was all to play for in week six. Let's take a look back at all the action.

Frei kicked off Cobblestone with a crisp 2K to grab the first pistol round. The boys in red quickly capitalised on their advantage and soon established a 4-0 lead before Prophecy managed to get on the board. The opposition managed to reduce the deficit to level the game at 5-5. At the end of the first half, the team secured a 9-6 lead as they moved over to the T side.

This time it was Prophecy who managed to win the pistol round and moved ahead in the 19th round of the game. In a frantic few rounds where both teams would snatch a round from the other, the boys in red managed to regain control of the game and began to close in on the victory. Proph managed to answer back to make the score 15-12 but it wasn't enough as the squad secured Cobblestone with a 16-12 win.

GGWP to Prophecy. The victory means that we are still in with a chance of making the playoffs! Once again, another massive thank you to L1NK for subbing in for the second week in a row.
