Here at Team Infused, we have been hard at work piecing together what our plan will be for 2018.
In this time, we have made the decision to release our Call of Duty roster with immediate effect. With no chance of qualifying for the CWL Pro League, we decided that it would be the best to release Deleo, Niall, Nick and Adam so they are able to compete in the National Circuit. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours. As for a return to Call of Duty, it is too early to say whether the Red Army will come back.
We have also made the decision not to renew our contract for season three of the Gfinity Elite Series. During our time in the first two seasons, we entered Rocket League and Street Fighter with some of the most talented players in Europe. We experienced many highs and lows in the Elite Series but for now, it isn’t where we want to be at this time.
We delayed making an official announcement to allow Gfinity time to confirm who would be taking the slot for the upcoming season. Prior to speculation, we chose to leave the Elite Series on good terms and in turn gave a position available for another great team to take our spot. We would like to thank Gfinity for an amazing two seasons and wish them the best of luck in the future ahead of them.
With that being said, our full focus is on our Halo team who are currently sitting at the top of the European scene. With MLG Orlando just a few weeks away, we will be doing everything to support Brandon, James, Luciano and Robby as they look to improve on their incredible top six finish that they achieved back at Dreamhack.
Thank you for all the support and patience as we look towards what is next for the Infused brand. #RedArmy
