InWin X-Frame and H-Frame Reviews

Writer Karra at 2012-06-26 at 1:31 AM 1

A brand new style of PC chassis was created by InWin. The 'X-Frame' has a unique style to which is completely different to the traditional chassis. Shaped like an 'X', the chassis has an ergonamic design to help improve thermal issues and the installation process. It also looks damn cool.

The H-Frame is yet another unique design, driven by an aluminium build. Quoting how it came about: 'deconstructing everything, then we reassemble it'. The H-Frame is has a very different take on the thermal option, where the chassis is almost completely open, which also gives the owner the option of not needing a cooling fan.

TweakTown, a technology driven content site recently received the product and did a 9 page review on the X-Frame Limited Edition. A small quote from the review:

I am just glad that they allowed me to keep this chassis, I do have some plans for slight modifications and additions, but that is better discussed in the other way to look at the X-Frame. That last thing that really sells me on this design is that it isn't just a test bench. If there is a lack of room or you just want to move it out of the way, the InWin X-Frame is built to stand and run on either end as well as flat as I used it. In reality if the cooler was small enough this design could be run upside down.
