I had a chance to sit down with JonnyREcco after he played his first two group matches of the tournament at i45 to discuss his feelings going to the LAN and the opponents he may face as well as his future aspirations for the game. Q. So Jonny, can we have a small introduction for the people who don't know you? A. I'm Paul Whyte, I play Zerg for Team Infused Q. Is this the first LAN event you've attended? A. Yeah, this is the first LAN I've attended Q. What's your opinion on the event so far? A. Pretty good, good atmosphere Q. Does playing at a LAN event make you nervous? A. I thought I would be, but I haven't got nervous yet. Q. Earlier you beat Jimmeh 2 – 0, how were those games? A. Pretty one sided, not much to say about them Q. Ourk just beat you 0 – 2, how were those games for you? A. Quite annoying, Banshee and Hellion harass, killed a lot of drones and put me far behind Q. How do you feel about the rest of the players in your group? (Ourk, Adblax, GGAndyPandy, AiChrub, aQze, PeppeR, GGSnorLax) A. The only player who will be a challenge will be Andy the rest of the people I don't feel I will have trouble with Q. How do you feel about the potential opponents you could be facing later in the event? (BlinG, DreAm, rANDY, ect and other Infused players) A. I fee like I have a good chance if I don't mess up and play like I should. People like Bling and Dream are good opponents Q. How do you feel about each of your match-ups heading into the tournament? A. ZvT and PvZ I will comfortable in, ZvZ is a bit random so not looking forward to those games. Q. Are you pleased with your (initial) 3rd place seeding for the event? A. Yeah, I wasn't expecting such a high seed Q. What are your predictions for the tournament? A. Hoping for Top 3 finish Q. Do you think you'll be attending LAN events in the future? A. Yeah, I will Q. Will you be travelling to LAN events abroad? Or just ones in the UK? A. I will be travelling to abroad LAN events Q. What do you think about the equipment given to you by Team Infused? (Theron, Dasher, Spin HD, Meka) A. Yeah, really like them. It's good. Keyboard is really nice because it's mechanical and not as hard to use. Q. Lastly, any shout outs you'd like to make? A.
